Thank you for your interest in the Wildlife Safari! This page will answer some of the most frequently asked questions you may have. You can always give us a call if you don't see your question answered here.
What are your Hours?
We are open from Wednesday through Sunday from
10 am until 5 pm with the last vehicle entrance at 4:30 pm.

Our safari will close for weather if it becomes a safety hazard. Please follow our Facebook page for weather related closures, or call before you come.
Where are you Located?
Our drive through safari is located at 915 Boleman Hill Road in Hartwell, GA. We are approximately 1.5 hours from Atlanta, GA and one hour from Greenville, SC.

Hartwell has many things to see and do!
We hope you can make a day of it!
What does it Cost?
Very Affordable Family Fun!

Our Admission prices are:
$10 for Adults
$5 for Children (age 2 through 12)
$5 for Seniors (age. 65+)
​
We also sell bags of safari feed for $5 per bag
and Budgie sticks for $3 each.
​
No outside food is permitted.
No Outside Pets or Animals are permitted.
How long does it take?
Well, that's up to you! A typical tour through the safari will last about an hour.
You are welcome to go through in your own vehicle as many times as you like at no additional
cost up until 30 minutes before closing time.
Can we use your vehicles?
Yes! Of Course!

You will be getting up close and personal with the animals in our Safari! If you don't want to risk your vehicle being loved on (slobbered), you can rent one of ours.

Our rental vehicles are on a first come first served basis and cost $20 plus admission. These vehicles are SUV's and Minivans and do not have air conditioning. Rental vehicles are only permitted to go through the safari one time.

If you have a party of 10 or more, call ahead and we can reserve our community bus for your group! Bus tours last approximately one hour and need to be scheduled in advance. Small Safari Bus holds up to 20 people (min of 10) and is $40 in addition to admission fees. Large Bus seats up to 40 (min of 20) and is $50 in addition to admission fees. Our licensed staff drive the bus for your group so you can enjoy the fun!
Please note: The safari bus does not have air conditioning.
How about Field Trips?
Yes! We love to host field trips!

Typically, we charge $8 per child which includes: admission, Safari bus tour, bag of feed, Safari Walkabout and Tortoise Lane.

Can We Have a Party there?
Yes! Birthdays, Reunions, Family Events, can be hosted in our private party area with private bathroom. We will take your group on a drive through private Safari Bus tour and each party goer will receive one bag of Safari Feed.

Parties of up to 20 people are accommodated for $400. Parties of up to 40 people are accommodated for $500. Larger groups can be arranged, please call for details.
